Picton Maritime Festival
Held every year at Picton's Shelly Beach, the event features the Port Marlborough NZ Longboat Regatta and includes food and craft stalls, a classic boat display and live entertainment.


Market Day
Enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and wander among the dozens of stalls of Blenheim's iconic street party. Art and craft, retail bargains, food, live music and entertainment. Generally held on the Friday before the Marlborough Wine Festival.

The Marlborough Wine Festival
The festival is held every 2nd Saturday in February.
Festival goers get the opportunity to sample a unique selection of wines and local foods all in the heart of one of Marlborough’s oldest and most beautiful vineyards – Brancott Vineyard. For the wine aficionados there are two wine seminars from the region’s leading winemakers and viticulturist and for the budding fashionistas the very popular Fashion in the Vines competitions. Entertainment is provided throughout the day by some of New Zealand’s top performers.
